I was offered a remote Supply Chain Specialist position by “M & R Holding Company LLC,” located at 477 Madison Ave, New York. The offer promised unusually high pay, no interview, and a two-week probation period where I would be required to purchase electronics from retail stores using “company funds” they would send in advance. They also described shipping, inspecting, and forwarding items, which aligns with known reshipping and fake-check job scams. The company claims to issue a corporate credit card after two weeks and offers benefits that contradict 1099 contractor status. The website and business information appear suspicious, and the job structure matches multiple FTC-reported employment scam patterns. I did not provide personal information or complete any purchases.
