Fake Home Warranty Expiration Notice - Phishing Scam Reviews

- Katonah, NY, USA • Jan 08, 2026

I received a letter in the mail accurately including my name and address urgently telling me to call this company about a home warranty that will expire if I do not reach out to them in time. I do not have a home warranty at all so that was an immediate red flag and after seeing other people receive the same letter, I can guarantee that this is a scam that somehow had my name and address and are looking for some kind of monetary benefit out of it. The letter doesn't mention money directly aside from a "Penalty for Private Use $300", it has no return address, email, or website, and I do not know what would happen if I called the number.
