I contacted the website about a kitten. We emailed back and forth extensively, made plans for me to come get the kitten, and I downloaded the app they preferred to use for payment (Chime). I transferred $500 of the $600 they needed for a deposit, but had to wait on the last $100 because the Chime account was going to take 3 days to transfer it from my bank. In the meantime, I started suspecting fishy behavior, so I started researching. I found others who had been scammed. As soon as I said I could no longer buy the kitten and would need a refund, they stopped responding to messages.
